Dr. Smagina has been my personal physician for many years now, and recently my husbands. She always takes the time to listen to my concerns and will do everything possible to make sure whatever is wrong gets treated. She asks the right questions and orders the right tests. Always treats us like family. The office staff is also wonderful...especially Amanda, her medical assistant. She is so pleasant and caring. I love my doctor and this office.
Dr. Smagina is the most competent and caring family doctor I have ever met. She now takes care not only of my personal health, but also my husband's, mother's and father's. She takes the time to hear all of my concerns, and produces clear reports of exams that she promptly posts to the patient portal. I will drive any distance to have her as my doctor! Her staff is just as good, from the front desk to the medical assistants. I highly recommend her.
Dr Smagina has been my PCP for almost 10 years now and I won't change her even though I now live on the North Shore. She takes her time with me, is very thorough, and has very caring while being direct about what we need to do. It's very much of a team effort. Amanda, her assistant is wonderful.
Dr Smagina has been the first physician that we have been truly impressed with. Not only does she care about our physical well being, but she is always concerned with our mental wellbeing too. she takes time with each visit, sets clear and easy to understand goals/instructions but more importantly follows up and holds us accountable for what we agreed to. She is a wealth of information on many medical topics. she is a one stop shop for my pap-smears, annual physicals and referrals to specialists if needed. everyone of her recommendations to a specialist has been to a physician who is reputable and outstanding recommendations. I can not say enough good things about her. her staff is helpful and when I have an unforeseen illness or need an emergency appointment, her team is always available. if you are looking for a top notch family physician then you have found her!
She is the best family physician that we have had so far. She truly cares about her patients, treats you like family. He never rushes you for visits, she always wants to know the bottom of our visit. She's the reason why I'm so healthy with a new heart today. My family love her, even my partner who's a grumpy guy who never likes seeing a doctor for anything.
